The World Dental Federation defines Sports Dentistry as the branch of dentistry dealing with prevention and treatments of the pathologies and injuries of the oral cavity and the stomatognathic system related to sports practice.

We don't just examine the oral cavity, we examine all the stomatognathic system including the jaws, dental occlusion and Temporomandibular Joints (TMJ's)
